Perbosc room of Ostal d’Occitania. From 7:30 p.m., €15 package including the concert and a snack.
I live at the foot of the volcano in Aurillac. I am the author of about twenty books of poetry. I won the Troubadours prize in 2010 for “Passages au jardin” and the city of Béziers prize in 2011 for “Vers les confins”. Two of my latest published titles “Le vacarme du Monde” (2017) and “La rumeur le fracas” (2022) evoke the excess of the present time. In “Lisière trouble des métamorphoses” (2018) and “Aux confins la vie au cœur” (2022) I seek a possible harmony between the elements and living beings. Between excess and harmony, the poem as the capture of the incandescence of the sensitive, luminous or obscure, and always in the gap at the heart. Here the humus is humble Welcomes only tiny plants With roots so fragile That the slightest breath Tears away from their little earth Like the beings of all lands Swept away by the financial hurricane Losing their rhizomes and Ending uprooted At the ends of the world
A recording of the reading will also be made in the Radio Occitania studio, then available for listening on the radio that same day at 8 p.m., in the program “Les poètes”, on 98.3 FM, and then on the website lespoetes.site, under the heading “Tempo Poème”
