This novel by Sèrgi Javaloyès, to be published by Reclams in June 2025, is a very loose adaptation of “Viral,” a French novel published in 2018 by In8. The author has reworked and transformed everything. In particular, the personalities and psychology of the main characters, the varied situations encountered by Julian, and of course, the in-depth exploration of the history of the “Years of Lead” in the Basque Country and Spain, as well as beyond the border.
