We are giving impetus to a movement that supports the idea that we need cultural diversity as much as we need ecological or human diversity. We defend a language for all, which allows us to grow together in an open society, aware of its environment and its history. The more a people embrace their culture collectively, the more they are able to organize, create, welcome, and share. As children, we all sang its song; on October 25th and 26th, we will give it back its home. To honor our intangible heritage, we will rebuild Joan Petit’s house on the very spot where it was razed in the 17th century as punishment for the Chips Revolt. Demonstrations, discussions, songs, concerts, villages from different Occitan countries. Parade… On October 25 and 26, 2025, let’s call for a festive weekend of demonstrations and actions for the Occitan language!
